Description: This mbuna cichlid from Lake Malawai is highly aggressive, probably the most aggressive cichlid in this group. They should be kept in harems of 1:4 to avoid aggression of the male auratus to other tanks mates. They are elongated with bold horizontal striping down their whole body. The albino variant is yellow with white to pale pink striping.
